Our process is designed to provide a seamless experience from concept to completion. It typically
includes the following phases:
1. Initial Consultation – We begin by discussing your vision, lifestyle, and goals for your new home so
we can ensure your build becomes a true masterpiece — one that reflects your taste and exceeds
your expectations.
2. Design/Planning & Budget – Clients may choose to work with our architectural and design
partners or bring their own plans from an architect. Once the plans are finalized, we send them out
for bid to obtain accurate pricing and develop a detailed budget. During this stage, we also establish
allowances for interior finishes and selections, ensuring transparency and flexibility as you make
design choices. Once the sales price of the home is established and both parties agree to move
forward, we proceed to contract.
3. Specifications & Selections – Once the contract is executed, clients visit FS Builder Resources and
Ferguson to begin the selection process. At FS Builder Resources, you’ll explore a curated design
warehouse featuring a wide range of premium materials and finishes. You’ll work directly with an
experienced designer who will guide you through each selection, helping you visualize how each
choice contributes to the overall design and functionality of your home.
4. Construction – Our experienced team manages every aspect of the build, maintaining clear
communication, quality control, and schedule oversight throughout the process.
5. Final Walkthrough & Handover – Once complete, we conduct a detailed walkthrough to ensure
every detail meets our standards before presenting you with your finished home.
Build times vary depending on size, complexity, and permitting, but most luxury custom homes take 12–
24 months from design to completion. We provide a detailed timeline before construction begins and
keep you updated throughout.
